Yoo Doo Right blends melodic and noisy guitar riffs, warped synthesizer layers, thick bass lines, and calculated percussive outbursts, creating a powerful wall of sound. With an experimental approach, the band skillfully merges elements of shoegaze, post-rock, and psychedelia, crafting a sound likened to a "slow-motion car crash." Over the years, Yoo Doo Right has toured across Canada, the United States, and Europe, participating in renowned festivals like SXSW in Texas and M for Montréal. They’ve shared the stage with bands such as Acid Mothers Temple, DIIV, A Place to Bury Strangers, FRIGS, and Jessica Moss. Following their first two albums, the trio released in March 2024 The Sacred Fuck EP, a collection of experimental recordings via Mothland.
