Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, Alexandra Romero Bayardo studied culinary arts at the Jalisco Culinary Training Center in the late 2000s. After graduating, she taught at the center and ran a catering service.
In 2017, she was drawn to the Quebec region, where she worked for restaurants Quartier-Maître, Pot de vin, Bistango, and Tapas & Liège. In 2019, along with partners, she became a chef-owner by launching Le Chaz and Le Verre Pickl’, offering market cuisine that showcases her wide culinary range and primarily uses products from local artisans and producers.
