Janette King is a Caribbean-Canadian alternative RnB artist, acclaimed for her debut album What We Lost, which received praise from Complex and Hypebeast. She has performed at Montreal Jazz Fest, Ottawa Blues Fest, and Noise Pop, supporting artists like Cupcakke, Candi Staton, Sudan Archives, and Jamila Woods. In 2023, she contributed to Gayance's album Mascarade and released the EP How Sad for Pride Month. Her upcoming album, Incantation, will be released in October 2024.
