Hybrid of Gaspé and Montreal origins and a multi-instrumentalist music lover, La Faune humorously combines modern indie rock, ambient electronic, creative sampling, and sensitive folk songwriting into a rich and cohesive body of work. In 2023, he releases two EPs, Mourir au Canada I (April) and Mourir au Canada II (November), and presents a new show touring Quebec, Ontario, and New Brunswick after a debut at the Montreal Francofolies in 2022. A semi-finalist at Francouvertes 2020 and winner at Festival en Chansons de Petite-Vallée in 2021, La Faune is now riding his own wave.
